Split Oak Documentary Screening

2019-05-09 @ 06:00 - 20:00
Free

The insatiable development of Florida signals a dim future for the lush sunshine state. But when our government threatens to sever the roots of a community, who stands to ensure their environmental values are preserved? How can life defend itself without a voice?

Join us this Thursday evening for the premiere of Split Oak, a short documentary by UCF student filmmaker Vince Marcucci. The screening will be followed by a Q&A session with Valerie Anderson, Marcucci and other members from The Friends of Split Oak.

The film is on its way to local, national and international film festivals, all of which require expensive entry fees. We welcome donations so people from around the world may hear the story of Split Oak Forest.
