We will be set up from near the main entrance of Split Oak Forest with tents and refreshments. There will be kids activities, talks, and hikes on the hour to a different gopher tortoise burrow each time. We will even have Sheldon a captive, un-releasable rescued gopher tortoise onsite courtesy of Swamp Girl Adventures! Stop by, get a quick Split Oak update, and learn about our amazing mascot, the Gopher Tortoise!

Save Our Forests Fundraiser
This fundraising event will benefit two important causes - #SaveSplitOak and #SaveSpruceCreek - hosted by Yaupon Brothers American Tea and Friends of Split Oak Forest. Light hors d'oeuvres, wine, beer, soft drinks, and tea will be served. The event will include local speakers, a plant raffle, and a silent art auction. All proceeds from this fundraiser will go towards legal fees to fight local authorities from building toll roads through Split Oak Forest and Spruce Creek. Please help us protect…
