The Pine Lily Chapter of the Florida Native Plant Society is co-fielding a team of EPIC PLANT NERDS to document SPECIES NEVER BEFORE SEEN in Split Oak Forest and smash plant list records!
We will be set up from 1-5pm near the main entrance of Split Oak Forest with tents and refreshments. Finally our beautiful and overgrown sandhills were burned this summer, one in June and one in July. This hike will be at 75 Days Post Burn for Unit 19A and 44 days post-burn for Unit 23. Meet @ the main entrance. Route: 4.75km/3.95mi including sections of the Florida Trail, North/South Trail, and County Line Trail.
