We will be set up from 1-5pm near the main entrance of Split Oak Forest with tents and refreshments. There will be kids activities, talks, and hikes on the hour to a different gopher tortoise burrow each time. We will even have a captive, un-releasable rescued gopher tortoise onsite courtesy of Swamp Girl Adventures from 1-3pm! Stop by after school, get a quick Split Oak update, and learn about our amazing mascot, the Gopher Tortoise!
